Our little Kitchenette. To the right in the photo is our fridge and a couple other cabinets plus the best part of our kitchen which is below...

This would be the washer and dryer!!!! Oh yes, I started a load last night that was about 8 pieces of the boys clothes and I am still drying it and it is 4 p.m. the following day. Not to mention it is in the kitchen. Very different but it will work for short term. It makes me definitely feel very fortunate with the one we have at home!

Our family/dining room and balcony.

This is from the balcony looking up the street.

This is looking down the street. I tried as hard as I could to zoom in on the corner pub. People just stand around outside and chit chat. We tried to go in one pub the first day we were here to have lunch and we weren't allowed in with children. We could have gone to the restaurant part but it didn't open up until 12:00 and we were starving. That was definitely a culture shock that children weren't welcome.
So far we have enjoyed our time here. We are very close to Big Ben, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, the Thames river and St. James Park. We got my cousin's car on Sunday and today we were going to the grocery store. Carson asked, "Can we use the car today b/c I am tired of walking?" Not so much did we use the car. Grocery shopping was quite interesting with two kids, a stroller, a basket hooked to the stroller and trying to get all of the essentials while going during the rush of lunch. I think I may have to utilize the delivery service or go when Jon is home. I have figured out that people eat lunch a little later here than at home. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well at home and I will try to post more pictures soon. That's all for now!
