Edinburgh Scotland

A view down the Royal Mile before we entered the Edinburgh Castle.

Obviously, this picture speaks for itself. This man told us that you see him in over 75 stores b/c there were coasters of a man's backside with his kilt lifted. He said it was his wife's idea and that he made millions. Who knows if it really is his backside. I tried to look when we walked away and he looked a lot wider. "Butt", I guess you have to take his word.

Here I am in front of Edinburgh Castle.

A beautiful cross that lined the walk to the entrance.

What a view. This is looking out one side of the entrance.

This looks out the other side, but we are in the castle now.

Here I am sitting on a cannon with the same view. It was really beautiful.

A view from the back of a memorial church within the castle.

So this man with his bagpipes was standing outside of this little church that we were trying to get into. When I say little, I mean it could fit maybe 15 people. Well, come to find out there was a wedding and this bagpiper was playing for the entrance and exit of the wedding party. Of course I snapped a pic of the groom in his kilt and the bride. Beautiful setting if you can get past all of the tourists staring and taking pictures. The church is also shown below.

One of the cannons with a view out of the castle. These were lined all around the castle.

Nighttime views of the castle.
This is a view from our hotel window. Below you see the queue for the taxi line and you also can see the club Mood. We went there both nights and had a blast!

We saw Mary Poppins the musical on Saturday night. What a brilliant performance.

Last pic of the Edinburgh Castle!
